Welcome to AWESOME APRIL! Don’t you just love this month? Spring is in full swing, lambs are filling the fields with joyful new life, the garden beds are abundant with late daffodils, forsythia and tulips and if you can find one, a bluebell wood is the place to have a beautiful fragrant wander. The clocks have changed so the evenings are full of light and of course we have a late Easter, a time for contemplation and reflection and of course, not a small amount of chocolate!
With this in mind ...
Now the big festivities are over for another year, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some downtime before the new year kicks off. I love this pause time between Christmas and New Year, often referred to as Twixmas, to reflect, head out on long walks in the winter sunshine and indulge in all the leftovers from hosting, it has to be done!

Welcome to January 2022 and a very Happy New Year.
When I was a Girl Guide, a role I took most seriously (!) my Guider wrote in my autograph book “Your life lies before you, like a sheet of driven snow. Be careful how you tread on it, for every mark will show” and I’ve never forgotten it as it’s so true, especially at the beginning of a New Year.
What a privilege to be embarking on a whole new year and even though in many respects we’ve had to yet again ...
